Ring Paris 1901 XL
A mosaic of gold and diamonds.
A perfect combination of high standards and ingenuity. The Paris 1901 XL ring
pushes technical limits, rendering the setting almost invisible.
The diamonds thus highlighted in this way create a
delicate lace pattern on five rows
in a complete circle.

Perfect balance.
The setting of the Paris 1901 L ring is a goldsmith’s real work of art
which highlights each diamond. To give the best impression of a
glittering painting, the jewel's setting has been designed
to be as discreet as possible, thus being

The Inspiration
“ I have always admired the work of the creator: being able to maintain the overall harmony of a structure, while perfecting even the most imperceptible details.
For this collection, I imagined a sparkling and delicate fresco as a reminder of those that adorn the most beautiful Parisian monuments. Paris 1901 is a way of paying tribute to the Paris of the 1900s: its lights, its elegance.
The result is the success of a beautiful project that is dear to us at Gemmyo. ”

Boucles Paris 1901 M
The Paris 1901 M earrings are the result of the meticulous expertise
expertise of our craftsmen. The paving on this model is first external and then
tilts inwards at the end to allow only the diamonds to “float.”
A marvel of rigour and refinement.

The art of precision
The exceptional know-how of our jewelry craftsmen is at the heart of the
Paris 1901 collection. The nail setting used on each of
these creations shows this skill.
This setting method requires extreme precision to perfectly adjust
each stone perfectly to fit each other. Each
diamond is set one by one thanks
to a singular setting with
the greatest of care.
The setting of the stone
In order to ensure that all the diamonds are at the same level, our workshops use a small milling cutter with a precision of one tenth of a millimetre. The slightest error can alter the quality of the setting and the overall look of the piece. There is no room for guesswork.
The finish
This is crucial for a homogeneous and elegant finish. It is a question of levelling each of the claws that will hold the stones as well as redrawing their ends one by one to make them perfectly round. Finally, the setter finishes his work by eliminating the smallest defect with a light eraser. The piece is then ready to be polished.
“ Architecture must speak of its time and place but aspire to timelessness. ”
Frank Gehry
The Story
“ Creating beauty with meaning is the ambition of the Paris 1901 collection. When I look at this jewelry, I feel a certain emotion. Their elegant and alluring design symbolises for me the pride of having set oneself a challenge, and looking back and saying: 'I succeeded'. Paris 1901 was imagined as a symbol of achievement... and not least: self-accomplishment!! ”
