Steel watches thought out down to the smallest detail
The 316L steel we have chosen for Gemmyo watches is an extremely resistant steel, perfectly suited for an everyday watch.
This stainless steel adorns all our watch cases as well as some of our women's watch straps.
The all-steel or rose steel versions of our watches (case + bracelet) are suitable for any occasion. 316L steel is water-resistant, so you can wash your hands with it, for example, or take a bath in a bathtub or swimming pool, provided you don't use it for sport, in shallow water or for diving.
But be careful: a water-resistant steel watch case is water-resistant independently of the bracelet. If you have chosen a leather strap, you should avoid submerging it.
Finally, our steel women's watch bracelets are made of thin links, which flexibly follow the movements of the wrist, for a watch with absolute comfort.
Pink PVD
In a nod to rose gold, the brand's emblematic metal, we have chosen to offer a version of our watches in pink steel.
This luminous finish is obtained using the PVD technique, an alternative to rose gold that is visually very similar and much less expensive. PVD produces a particularly resistant coating with a soft colour.
A customisable women's steel watch
Like our jewellery pieces, our women's steel watches are customisable.
The Prima watch, for example, the House's first watch creation, is available with a steel or rose steel case. For the strap, you can choose between different options: steel, pink steel, single leather strap, double leather strap.
If you're hesitating between several models, you should know that our bracelets are interchangeable in seconds and without tools, thanks to a clever sliding system.
How to choose the right size for your steel watch strap
The special feature of our women's steel watch bracelets? You can add or remove links to perfectly adjust the bracelet to your wrist. To find out the exact size of your wrist, we advise you to make an appointment in shop. However, if you prefer to order online, you can use our downloadable tool to measure your wrist size. Based on your wrist size, we'll adjust the number of links before sending you your watch.
Don't worry if the size or model doesn't fit on receipt: returns, exchanges and resizing of our watches are offered within 30 days.
Caring for your women's steel watch
Although the steel of our watches is particularly resistant, we advise you to avoid wearing your watch during sports, or any other activity that may result in even light shocks. This could lead to the appearance of micro-scratches on the case and/or bracelet of your steel watch.
If you have opted for a steel case and leather strap, we advise you - in addition to avoiding contact with water - to regularly nourish your watch strap with a special cream or balm.
